Ann Chernow

American, born 1936

Born in New York, New York, she studied at Syracuse University and received a BS and MA from New York University. She has been an instructor of studio work at the Museum of Modern Art, 1966-70. From 1968 to 1980, she was an Instructor of Art History at the University of Connecticut and then a Professor Emeritus there. Her media is oil and graphics, and she has had numerous exhibitions in the New York area.
