Charles Martin-Sauvaigo

French, 1881-1962

Charles studied under Bonnat and O. Merson. He exhibited in Paris at the Salon of French Artists from 1910. He was awarded the “Prix de la Savoie” in 1913; a bronze medal in 1921, and a silver medal in 1923; the Paul Liot prize in 1925. He also was awarded the title of Chevalier de la Legion d’honneur.
