Henry Orne Rider

American, 1886-1944

Henry Orne Rider studied with D.W. Champney at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. He also studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts with M.Duval and at the Academie Julian in Paris under Boulanger and Lefebvre.

Rider was a member of the Boston Art Club. He exhibited in Paris Salon, in the National Academy of Design, The Boston Art Club and in the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
