Leon Leblanc

French, 1889-1974

Leon Leblanc was born in Ste-Maure-de-Tousaine near Loire and died in Tours. He was known for his impressionistic cityscapes as well as his countryside landscapes. These particular paintings are of the Paris region but he painted mostly landscapes of the Tours region, favouring the Cher and Loire valley. His works also include seascapes, architectural views and still lifes.
