Maurice Greenberg
American, 1893-1996

Maurice was born in Milwaukee, where he received his first training at the Wisconsin School of Art. He moved to Chicago in 1912, and during World War I he painted camouflage in South Carolina.

After his service, he became a background artist in Hollywood, working for studios such as MGM, Columbia Screen Gems, Walt Disney, and Cascade Pictures. He retired in 1963.
