Wilfred Jenkins
British, 1857-1936Wilfred Jenkins was most notably known for his evening scenes. He painted such well known areas of the London area such as St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Westminster Bridge, the Thames River and the Houses of Parliament. Jenkins’ photo realist depictions of the London landmarks show well his skills as a draughtsman. He exhibited his works at the Royal Academy and Suffolk Street. He was also a member of the Royal Society of British Artists.
