Robert McGill Mackall
American, 1889-1982

Robert McGill Mackall was born in 1889. He is known for his work as a muralist and stained glass maker. 

He was schooled at the Art Student's League, The Munich Academy, and the Ecole des Beaux-Art (a famous art school in Europe). He painted murals for public areas and some can still be found today at their original spot.

Many of his more famous murals have been installed in the Hall Of Tools set in the Smithsonian American History installation. Robert McGill Mackall passed away in 1982.
