A Louis XVI Grey Painted Console Attributed to George Jacob
18th Century

The demi-lune mottled marble top above a pierced foliate carved frieze, on tapering fluted legs headed by paterae and joined by a stretcher, inscribed porcelains haut and 348/53, traces of earlier gilding underneath paint.
