Frank Handlen

American, b.1916

Born September 27, 1916 in Caldwell, New Jersey,  he lived and painted in Biddeford Pool, Maine from 1940-1970.  Lives and paints in Kennebunkport, Maine since 1970. Known for Marines and Landscapes in oil and pastels, also sculpture. He created the heroic bronze statue on the Village Green in Kennebunkport called Our Forebears of the Coast.
