J E Van Bois

Van Bois started to travel extensively throughout Europe, Egypt, Northern Africa and the Middle East.  He discovered his passion for Egypt.  A few years after his first visit he returned back to Egypt this time accompanied by Gerome, Belley, and Bartholdi.  His was known for his luminist paintings along the Nile.  His works are quite scarce and sought after by collectors.
