Laszlo Neogrady was born in Galsa in 1861 and died in 1942. He studied in Budapest and Munich. He became a professor of painting and watercolor in Budapest. A post-impressionist Neogrady knew how to translate the different aspects of a landscape through its atmospheric conditions, the change of seasons.
