Marc Eugene Lebrun
French, 1867-1935

Marcel Lebrun studied under Luigi Loir.  He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Francais. He was a member of this society from 1897 and won many awards including an award with merit in 1902.  He was particularly interested in the depiction of Paris by night. His works demonstrate his meticulous attention to detail which is evident in this wonderful Parisian cityscape.

Marcel’s works later influenced artist’s like Edouard Cortez and Antoine Blanchard. His paintings are very rare to come by and are sought after by collectors.
