Morston Constatine Ream
American 1840-1898

Morston Constatine Ream was a specialist in fruits and dessert still lifes.  He had a brother Carducius Platagenet Ream who also was an artist.  Morston learned daguerreotyping in 1860 and was a photographer’s apprentice until he found the process detrimental to his health and turned to painting in1868.
